"The Greek word Kοντά - i.e. nearness, getting close, becoming one - fully encapsulates the poetics underlying this art exhibition. The show unfolds as one installation made up of individual canvases as if they were to form one extended body - and one work of art. Trapped inside the canvases, fragments of human bodies, detached from one another, yearn even for the slightest contact: hopelessly reaching out to the other, they beg for a little, imperceptible touch, struggling to re-compose, piece after piece, into a whole."
